Article Submission Guideline

All articles must be submitted in adherence to the following guideline.
Font: Times New Roman, Font Size: 12, Spacing: Double space, Margin: 1″ Top, Bottom, Left, and Right, Article length: 1200 – 1500 words in three pages or less
Note: Each submission should be accompanied by a cover page including the following details:
Full name, Student ID number, Postal address, Email address, Phone, College name, College address, Principal’s name, College phone number, College Email ID.
ALL PLAGIARIZED ARTICLES WILL BE DIS-QUALIFIED

Award

Sushama (Panigrahi) Rath Award of Rs. 10,000/- will be awarded to the best creative English writer in the state of Odisha.
Two Merit awards of Rs. 2.000/– each will be awarded to the second and third creative English writer in the state of Odisha.
Announcement: All winners will be intimated directly through their contact information provided in the cover page of the article.

Important Dates: The article submission for the year 2024-25 is open till November 15th, 2024.

Award Distribution: Award money along with the certificate will be sent directly to the winners.

Dr. Bhakta B Rath

In order to promote literary activity among the girls of Odisha, particularly those who are college or university students in the state, an endowment has been established by Padma Bhusan Bhakta Bhusan Rath. The award named “SUSHAMA (PANGRAHI) RATH AWARD,” a distinguished alumnus of Shailabala Women’s Autonomous College, Cuttack, Odisha, will be presented to the recipient in the form of cash prize and a certificate.

Sushama(Panigrahi) Rath Award

An Award for Best Creative Writing in English Language for Women Students of Odisha, India

An endowment is established in the name of Mrs. Sushama Rath, daughter of the Late Lingaraj Panigrahi, Chief Justice, Minister, and Speaker of the state assembly, wife of Dr. Bhakta B. Rath. She was a distinguished graduate from Shailabala Women’s College and followed by two master’s degrees in English and American literature from Allahabad University, India and Washington State University, USA. She was a member of the honor society Phi Beta Kappa and served as a member of a teaching faculty at the Washington State University and the University of Pittsburgh. She later served as the senior program analyst of the Northern Virginia Community College system. She was a strong supporter of many charitable institutions and served as the first lady of ASM International during her husband’s tenure as President of the society. Consistent with Late Mrs. Sushama (Panigrahi) Rath’s recognition, for her life-long commitment to the English literature, this award was created to promote, creative writing among the young women students of Odisha.
